Hi yall...My name is Racheal Smith. I am wife to Pastor Scottie of 22 years and we have 3 beautiful boys, Caleb (22), Landen (16), and Samuel (9). My husband and I have been pastoring here at New Covenant for almost 4 years. We are from Alabama, but have loved living here in Louisiana. We started out in youth and children's ministry and did that for 16+ years in several different states before transitioning to lead pastoral roles.
I have always had a heart for encouraging women of all ages to live a life that Christ has called them to live and to walk in the calling He has for them. I believe that as sisters in Christ, we are to lift one another up and edify one another with our words. I have had a passion for women's ministry for as long as I can remember.
Hebrews 10:24-25 - (24)And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, (25)not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another; amd so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
